When Funke Fowler Walks The Aisle Again

Not many have the strength to try a bad road twice. Indeed, not all women would want to walk the aisle again having failed once. However, Funke Fowler appears to be an exception.

Having been a victim of a failed marriage when she got married in an elaborate affair to Abi Kuku in 2011, the fair-complexioned Fowler decided to give marriage another shot.

She walked the aisle in a low-key affair on Saturday, April 13, with the Chairman of Coronation Merchant Bank, Aigbovbioise Aig-Imoukhuede.

Having had a low-key engagement ceremony on Thursday, April 11, the couple got married in an equally low-key affair on Saturday, April 13, with a private party for friends the following day.

Determined to satisfy their craving for good music, Sunny Ade was on the bandstand entertaining guests, while Teni The Entertainer also entertained at the event. 112, an American R&B quartet from Atlanta, Georgia which made waves in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as ‘Peaches & Cream’, ‘Only You’ and ‘Anywhere’ was flown into the country to satisfy the music craving of the bride.

Present at the post-wedding private party sponsored by the groom’s elder brother and erstwhile Managing Director of Access Bank, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede were Aliko Dangote, Wale Tinubu, Jide Sanwoolu, Prince Dapo Abiodun to mention a few.
