AMINU-TAMBUWAL
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, might be in the eye of the storm due to his defection from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to the opposition party All Progressives Congress (APC), but he is standing tall even in the storm.
Tambuwal whose security details were controversially withdrawn was the centre of attention recently when he stormed the event of a top APC chieftain in Lagos recently.
Dressed in his signature design, Tambuwal was escorted by hordes of supporters, as he was welcomed to the venue of the event by his party faithful.
If Tambuwal’s arrival was a sight to behold his departure was more of a carnival, as supporters of APC and several private security men were all over him even following his car till he left the event centre.
