Gbenga Oyeyiga:
If for any reason you are one of those ladies who are drawn to movie celebrities we advise you to be careful in selecting. www.theoctopusnews.com presents Season One, a minor list of 2013 Nollywood wife beaters.

First on our list is actor and movie producer Gbenga Oyeyiga. Information available has it that the man’s marriage to his banker wife Loade has ended. The reason is not far-fetched as we heard that he allegedly gave the lady the beating of her life. So bad was the situation that she was admitted in hospital for three weeks in January.

www.theoctopusnews was informed by friends of Lolade, that the January beating wasn’t the very first time Oyeyiga would batter his wife, as he had even gotten used to seeing her as his punching bag.

He is said to have beat her severally in the past with her colleagues in the bank always asking what happened to her. Some time ago, Oyeyiga was arrested for battery, and was almost dragged to court before his wife decided to drop the case.

Lolade has since moved out of her matrimonial home and now lives with the couple’s only child.

Tade Ogidan:
Another man who qualifies to be on this list surprisingly is respected film maker, Tade Ogidan.

The dark-complexioned man, was recently alleged of wife battery.

According to reports, the top movie director allegedly almost beat the life out of his wife, Yewande, leaving her with serious body injuries.

www.theoctopusnews.com gathered, this is the second time the man would be beating his wives. We gathered that his first wife ran away from his house after Ogidan severally turned her into a whipping object. Yewande has reportedly bore him three children.

Reacting the allegations that he is a wife beater, the movie director-producer Ogidan, who is the brain behind several blockbusters including Dangerous Twins denied the allegation and explained what really happened. According to him, I can never hit a woman. My wife got wounded when she fell in my office and hit her nose on a chair.

That is what happened. I have never hit a woman, and I just cant. I counsel people who have issues and they respect me greatly for the wisdom I bring to the table. People in and outside this society hold me in high regard.

I am always mindful of anything I do anywhere. This is a major distraction for me as I spend quality time to explain the situation to all who reach out to me from all over the world.

Gbenga Adeyinka
Comedian Gbenga Adeyinka is not left out of this puzzle, as rumours have been abound about how he beats his wife.

Those who know the man said it was when he could no longer take the embarrassment of people separating him and his wife when they fight that saw him dumping his TOS Benson Estate home in Ikorodu, Lagos, for abode in Ikeja before moving to his own property in ikorodu, an outskirt town of Lagos.

www.theoctopusnews.com also learnt that Adeyink’s romance of several years with actress Moyo Lawal caused a lot of problems in the comedians home and this led to a lot of fighting between him and his wife.
