On the day, the governor was spotted wearing a tracksuit, as he took time out for a light exercise walking around Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
Unlike when he would be accompanied by a hordes of security men, Ambode enduring the cold weather had just a handful of men in plain clothe with him.
Aware that he was the cynosure of eyes, the governor behaved as if he was oblivious of passerby staring at him. Indeed, on that day he was unassuming.
