Popular socialite, Fatima Mohammed, is currently recuperating from a gunshot wound.
The chocolate-complexioned woman and ardent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was shot in the hand during a rally organised for one of her party’s senatorial candidates, Mr. Segun Adewale, popular as Areoland.
www.theoctopusnews.com gathered that Areoland and his supporters were attacked by some hoodlums in Mushin, Lagos and it was during the fracas that the lady was shot. Mohammed was subsequently rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), where she was treated.
Interestingly, Areoland’s campaign has been plagued by violence, as sometimes back he was alleged to have led some thugs to the campaign office of Solomon Adeola, his opponent in All Progressives Congress (APC), leaving properties worth million damaged in the wake of his visit.
No doubt Mohammed is another person who has suffered the brunt of Areoland’s unique style of politics.
