Seven and a Half Dates’ Script Compelled Me Back Into Acting – Jim Iyke

If we are going down the memory lane in Nollywood, some actor’s names are ought to be mentioned without question. One of these names is that of Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke who has thrilled viewers and filmmakers with his acting prowess.

Known as Nollywood’s bad boy, Jim Iyke will be joining several Nollywood actors in cinemas come August 3rd, 2018 as he plays the lead role in one of the most talked about and anticipated movies, Seven and a Half Dates.

Jim who has been off the screens for a long while recently revealed that producers can no longer afford him hence his absence in both home videos and cinema movies. This, however didn’t stop Jim from taking up the role of Jason in the soon to be released movie, Seven and a Half Dates.

When asked why he decided to take up the role, Jim said; “Creativity, uniqueness and a lot more. I just couldn’t afford not to be part of this movie. The cast members are incredibly talented. I always choose my scripts very carefully and when I got the script for Seven and a Half Dates, I just couldn’t turn my back on it and I must say, the script compelled me back into acting. This movie is a must watch and Seven and a Half date is the most important movie date you have this year which makes 3rd of August a date you don’t want to miss.”

Seven and A Half Dates’ tells the story of love from the pans of a chess board, a father sets up ten dates for his unwilling daughter,the datesbecame worthless but there was going to be an unexpected twist that could make it all worthwhile. The movie also stars Sola Sobowale, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Akin Lewis, Toyin Abraham, Faithia Williams, Frank Donga, McLively, Ali Nuhu, Bayray McNwizu, Roxy Antak, Chris Iheuwa and more.
