The lawyer of feuding P-Square, Festus Keyamo, has opened up on the crisis between the Okoye brothers.

Prior to now, many had expected Keyamo to speak on the issue especially with several journalists calling his chambers to clarify the authenticity of a video showing the brothers in a scuffle purported shot in the chambers.

In a statement released by Keyamo, the lawyer absolved either of the brothers of singularly being at fault. The statement, also cleared their wives of responsibility in the breakup fight insisting that they have never interfered in the fray at any time.

Interestingly, there are those who hold the position that Peter’s wife, Lola Omotayo is responsible for his decision to quit the music group.

It is no news that Peter Okoye has succeeded as a solo artiste dropping singles and signing endorsement deals, a feat credited to his wife, Omotayo.

In the past, the duo of Paul and Jude Okoye have chided Peter for allowing his wife control him. However, he has insisted on the contrary that his decision are mainly his absolving himself from influence from his wife, but insisting that his family comes first.

You will recall that in the letter sent to Festus Keyamo chambers asking for a severance of their agreement which also surfaced online, one of Peter’s major grievance was an allegation of threat to life. This position was confirmed in the video which also surfaced online, as Jude was seen reportedly telling Peter to bring his coffin whenever he is coming to his house.

Surprisingly, Keyamo has refuted the allegations of anybody’s life being at risk. They lawyer, attributed Peter’s comments to the normal issues which happens among siblings.

While he assures of the possibility of the group coming back better, he begged for fans prayer.

This is not the first time P-Square will be in a crisis that will see the brothers threatening to part ways.

Last year, the music industry was agog with a similar incident that saw music pundit analysing what the music industry will be without P-Square.

However, they have since concluded that if it will take the break of P-Square for peace to reign then so be it. Recall that years back, a face-off between D’banj and Don Jazzy led to the resting of the brand, Mohit. Prior to the brand being rested, it was one of the most popular record label in the country with artiste such as Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid and several others.
