Talk about one Senator who pulls weight in Osun State, the name Iyiola
Omisore readily comes to mind.
As a sitting Senator and even after leaving the upper chamber, Omisore
was still influential, such that he got royal treatments anytime he
stepped out at any social event.
The man, whose present dream is to become the first citizen of Osun
State in the forth-coming 2015 elections, however, got a reality check
on Sunday, March 2, when he was spotted at a birthday party in Usi
Ekiti, Ekiti State.
On that day, Omisore seemed to have turned less popular, as top brass
who attended the party, only loitered at his table for a while before
moving on. Observers were quick to wonder if this could mean Omisore
is not that popular after all.
