YBNL act, Olamide is no doubt one of the hottest brands in the Nigerian music industry.
However, Badoo got a snob from the organizers of the 2015 MTV African Music Awards (MAMA) which held on Saturday, July 18.
Though nominated in the Best Hip Hop category alongside artistes such as Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, K.O. also from South Africa, Phyno of Nigeria and Youssoupha of Democratic Republic of Congo, Olamide simply could not grab the award which was won by Nyovest.
Many who had hoped Lil Kesh, Olamide’s protégée would make up for his label mate’s loss were also disappointed, as the lad’s category, ‘Song of the Year’ was won by Mavin Crew with the song, Dorobucci.
Interestingly, Olamide and Lil Kesh have had a good run in their music career.
