Fans of Seyi Shay and music pundits alike have been pouring commendation and encouragement towards the direction of Seyi Shay since her fall while performing on the stage of the 2017 All Africa Music Awards (Afrima).
Seyi Shay, was performing on the stage of the 2017 Afrima on Sunday, November 12, when she fell.
Like a professional singer, she got up and continued her performance confirming the saying synonymous with entertainment “The show must continue”.
Since the fall, it has been words of encouragement, as fans tell her that worse things have happened to even greater artistes than herself.
It is a known fact that American superstars including Beyonce have had a dramatic showing on stage while performing. Many would remember how she bled on stage and never stopped the show having ripped out her earing, only recently the tampon string came lose Cardi B reared its head when she was performing on stage in New Orlean, but that didn’t stop the show.
Interestingly, the Nigerian artiste later took to the social media to shame the devil saying “The Devil is a lair”.
