The Nigerian Police has arrested another Kingpin and four other suspects in the ongoing investigation into the Offa bank robbery.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris’s Intelligent Respond Team (IRT), led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari announced the arrested of all five suspects.
Five suspects including another kingpin named Moses Gowon were arrested by IRT in Kogi, Oyo and Kwara states.
Gowon aged 27, is a native of Daodu village in Guma Local Government Area (LGA), of Benue State. Like the earlier arrested suspects, his picture was captured by the bank’s close circuit television (CCTV), and was released to members of the public to identify him wherever spotted.
Over 30 people including a pregnant woman were killed in the Off bank robbery operation.
