These are not the best of times for former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Tunde Lemo.

Information reaching www.theoctopusnews.com about the man is not palatable, as there are indications he might be picked up for questioning for his role in a fraud allegedly perpetrated during his time in the apex bank.

Our source revealed Lemo’s role in the fraud is pivotal.

While this information is bad for the image of Lemo, it is coming at a bad time when the man is planning to run for the governorship election of Ogun state.

Our sources revealed that Mr. Lemo’s fraudulent activities would have gone unnoticed, but for a comprehensive auditing of the bank recently which revealed his secret. Lemo, is been accused of enriching himself by collecting 10% from contractors, who had dealings with the apex bank.

We were informed that it was from the gains of Lemo’s dealing while at the bank that he setup a highbrow school for his wife.

Presently, there are talks that the anti-graft agencies have been alerted, and it is certain that after their investigations Lemo would be invited for questioning on his part in the said deal.
