When fans, friends and well-wishers gathered at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Friday, February 14 to sample songs from Lace’s debut album one thing most of them did not know was that his father didn’t want him to be a music act.
He told www.theoctopusnews.com that his father wanted him to be a barber.
His words, “My father wanted me to be a barber, but I knew I would be a musician,”.
Though, not in the habit of self praise, Lace, expects his debut album, titled Benin 2 Nigeria, “to be a mega success”. The album features artistes such as Yemi Alade, Skales, 9ice and Flash.
