Reality hit Mohammed Babangida recently, as armed robber stole his wife’s black-colored 2015 Mercedes Benz S550.
According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday, August 8th in Kaduna.
A senior officer in the Nigerian police who spoke on the incident said, the robbery took place in Ungwan Rimi area of the town.
Mrs. Babangida and members of her security detail were unharmed during the daring robbery.
The police source explained that the armed robbers forcibly snatched her car at gunpoint before taking away unspecified amounts of money and other valuables from her.
It is believed that the armed robbers probably followed Mrs. Babangida before they stole her vehicle. It was also learned that in addition to her car, the robbers stole an official rifle belonging to a member of her security detail.
Many who have been calling to check on Mrs Babangida have been quick to tell her to consider herself luck to still be alive.
