The above quote is one which is very popular. However, it appears one that the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, is oblivious off.
Adeosun’s road to her current office was one riddle with several controversies including alleged financial improprieties and a complicated citizenship status. It was also said that she was not qualified for the office, having only served one term as Commissioner of Finance in Ogun state.
Though many had expected that the investment banker and London-trained accountant would convince her critics and prove them wrong with her work as Minister, it seems that she has not been able to do this.
A new controversy of a fake National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), certificate is what is currently trailing her. Indeed, this is another major dent on the image of the woman still trying to prove she can handle the cap on her head.
