King of fuji music, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1, was on Sunday, June 22, honoured with a lifetime achievement award in a ceremony which held at 10 Degrees Event Centre, Oregun Lagos.
The award was in recognition of his contribution to the growth of the music industry in Nigeria.
An elated K1 who had earlier stormed the event with his security details stayed till the late hours of the evening before departing.
Also honoured alongside K1 were entertainment notables such as Femi Anikulapo Kuti, Sir Shina Peters, Adewale Ayuba and others
