The visual artist and illustrator of late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Lemi Ghariokwu, has committed to attending the highly anticipated Beautiful Africa Day (BAD).
Ghariokwu confirmed his attendance of the event slated for Saturday, June 1, during a recent interview.
He said: “I am getting ready to attend the 2019 edition of the Beautiful Africa Day at Culture Center, Merksum, Antwerp, Belgium.”
The illustrator, who was synonymous with almost all of the album cover of legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti couldn’t hide his excitement about the event, adding that he will definitely be at the event.
BAD, a brainchild of African Television (AFTV) is a celebration of African culture in Belgium.
