A speculation is currently making the rounds about Dimeji Bankole.
The former speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Bankole was rumoured over the week to be warming up to return to active politics.
Before now, Bankole had opted to stay underground and focus on his businesses having failed to return to the House of Representatives in 2011.
He however seems to have changed his mind, as there are indications that he was ready to team up with Ladi Adebutu for a battle for the soul of Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Ogun State PDP is currently divided between factions. As 2019 approaches, Adebutu and Bankole are said to be pitching tents together.
