After several failed promises of releasing his sophomore album, Davido has now reaffirmed that it will drop this year.
The DMW artist confirmed this in a recent post on social media, Instagram.
In the post, Davido said he was going off his phone to be able to complete the album and also focus on other things.
He wrote “Everybody that has been trying to reach me on my phone, WhatsApp or whatsoever, I’ve decided to go off the phone for the next month so I can finish my album and focus on other things. So if you’re trying to reach me, call Lati.”
Having dropped his debut album ‘OBO’ in 2012, Davido has not been able to drop a follow-up album. He dropped an EP titled ‘Son of Mercy’ in 2016. Since then, it has been a story of one failed release date after the other.
