Celebrating T.B. Joshua’s Global Philanthropy

TB Joshua

Philanthropy is exceptional and as such the blessing deserving of philanthropists should be special.

When a philanthropist is a man of God who has dedicated his life to helping the poor and downtrodden in the society especially in dire economic situations his blessings are bound to be bountiful.

Who deserves the above analogy as Temitope Balogun Joshua, the Leader Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN)?.

Aptly and fondly called TB Joshua, it is difficult to quantify the man of God’s philanthropy with his age having only recently clocked 54.

Humble to a fault, many who have heard what he has done for both the needy, sick amongst others ill-fated individuals have pondered how he has been able to do so much?

A great friend or perhaps the only real friend of the poor, many would remember TB Joshua’s healings, deliverance and how he continues to give out money and food stuffs to the less privileged. Carrying bags of rice on his head, a mark typical of a man indeed meek he has consistently proven his humility.

Asides his philanthropy, his achievement through his ministry speaks volume both in Africa and other climes, hence visitors from far and wide continue to throng his Ikotun-Egbe-based church in search of one breakthrough or the other.

In spite of criticisms, some of TB Joshua’s laudable achievements include his international crusades and televangelism via his Emmanuel TV’s through which he has been able to help individuals, institutions and nations overcome spiritual and socio-economic challenges.

This is one thing which men such as President John Evans Atta-Mills, President Omar Bongo of the Republic of Gabon, Goodwill Zwelithini, King of the Zulu from South Africa, ex-President Frederick Chiluba of Zambia, Andre Kolimba, former president of the Central African Republic and ex-President Pascal Linssouba of Congo Brazaville will readily attest to.

Power shy, TB Joshua remains one of the few men of God who till date remains non partisan as far as politics is concerned, something many have attributed to his in ability to overcome his case in court over a collapsed church building.

Born on June 12, 1963, in Arigidi, Akoko, Ondo state, TB Joshua’s road to fame was destined, as it started historically having spent 15 months in his mother’s womb and narrowly escaping death at a young age.

Rising above failed dreams such as his inability to complete secondary school having graduated from St. Stephens’ Anglican Primary School, his failure to join the army, an all time low of washing people’s muddy feet among others, TB Joshua has definitely turned a ‘Big Pastor’, dwarfing ‘Small Pastor’ his nickname from his days in primary school.

Renowned amongst some of the most popular Prophets of the world, TB Joshua is the 13th most popular man of God in the world and number one in Africa. As much as humility might deny him acclaim for his achievements, there is no denying the fact that TB Joshua is already a name in the annals of history.
