Who will laugh last between Femi Gbajabiamila and Yakubu Dogara?
The above question is one which a lot of people monitoring the politics of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government will like to be answered.
Earlier in the year, the tussle of who becomes speaker of the House of Representatives saw the aforementioned duo at loggerheads.
Although the issues were later resolved, there is no confusing who would have the last laugh should Dogara be implicated in the ongoing allegation of budget padding.
While Gbajabiamila has released a statement denying claims that he was working with the sacked chairman of House Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin to unseat Dogara, the fact remains that he might just have seen the end of a major stopper to his own game in the house.
