A government appointee is expected to be a man or woman with a listening ear. Afterall, they are expected to uphold and protect the interest of their people.
However, one public servant who is not listening is the acting Commissioner of Transportation in Lagos State, Anofiu Elegushi.
Despite the fact that the man has been made an object of mockery, courtesy a bad street named after him in his estate located off Salem Bus Stop, Lagos-Epe Express Road, Eti-Osa, Lekki, Lagos State, Anofiu has done nothing about it.
The deplorable condition of his street named Olanrenwaju Elegushi remains despite clamour for it to be given a simple facelift via grading.
People in the estate are presently asking what is the need of having a man of influence in their estate if he can‘t even help with the simple grading of their street.
