Sony Music is known to sign some of the best talents to have walked on the face of the earth. Notable icons including late Michael Jackson and Beyonce Knowles are known to be artistes on the label.
In recent times, there has been confusion about the record company, as artistes from almost everywhere in Nigeria have been springing up with pictures announcing their signing to Sony Music.
From Davido to YCee, Patoranking, D’banj, Wizkid and more recently Tekno, artistes are speedily jumping onboard one Sony Music deal or the other.
While Davido is said to be signed to Sony Music BMG, Wizkid is said to be signed to Sony Music Worldwide, while D’banj is said to be signed to Sony Music Africa. Cobahms Asuquo and Tiwa Savage are also signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing as song writers.
Presently, fans of these artistes are seeking to know if they belong to the same Sony Music as the one which plays home to Adele and Alicia Keys.
